Dr. Kramer joined Partners in Internal Medicine back in 2009. She is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and obtained her undergraduate degree from Miami University in southern Ohio. She graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, then moved to Rochester to complete her internal medicine residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. She served as Chief Medical Resident at St. Mary’s Hospital and practiced and taught internal medicine residents there before moving to RGH where she saw patients and continued to teach internal medicine residents until 2009. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, initially in 1993, then re-certified in 2003 and 2013. She is a member of the Monroe County Medical Society, serves on the hypertension guideline committee there, and is also a member of the American College of Physicians. She enjoys all aspects of practicing internal medicine, especially teaching and empowering her patients in their own care, and in preventing medical illness through lifestyle choices.
